Product Description

Single edge or triple edge?
Single edge : The chamfer is smooth and round, and the effect is good. Suitable for processing workpieces with high precision; suitable for processing soft and thin materials, easy deburring operation, and more suitable for first-time users. It is not recommended to use it at high speed, and the rotation speed is about 200.
Three blades : simultaneous cutting, higher efficiency and more wear-resistant. Suitable for chamfering and deep cutting of long mold steel, stainless steel, rails and other hard materials. It is not recommended to process soft and thin materials, such as copper and aluminum. It is not recommended to use a hand drill. Beginners are advised to use a single blade.

Precautions :
*If a novice buyer uses a pistol drill to chamfer, it is recommended to use a single-edged chamfering knife.
*It is recommended to be used with platform equipment such as machining centers/bench drills, and the rotation speed is about 200.
*The three-edge chamfer is extremely sharp and suitable for high-precision machining centers;
*Low-precision processing equipment such as bench drills may vibrate. It is recommended to use a single-edged chamfering tool.
*The chamfering knife cannot be used directly for drilling!
*Concentricity must be maintained during the chamfering process, especially the three edges, otherwise vibration marks will appear.

Problems you may encounter during processing :
1. Knife vibration (often occurs when using a three-edged chamfering knife)
Solution: Use sandpaper to rub the edge of the chamfering knife so that it is not so sharp. Check the concentricity of the machine and whether the clamp is clamped. Check whether the pendant is clamped to reduce the amount of feed. The feed speed should be uniform and increase the rotation speed. If none of the above methods can solve this problem, it is recommended not to buy a three-edged chamfering knife. You can choose a single-edged or coated chamfering knife to avoid this problem from the source.
2. Burr
Solution: If the tool has burrs after being used for a long time, you can sharpen the edge because the tool is not sharp enough, or replace the tool directly. If the newly purchased tool has burrs, it may be due to the high hardness of the workpiece and the inappropriate tool. You can replace the tool with a better one. You can consult customer service to recommend suitable tools for you.
3. Rounding not caused by the vibration of the knife
Solution: If the three-edged chamfering tool is not round, you can check whether the workpiece is clamped and whether there is any displacement during processing.
