Product Description
Overview :
It is suitable for initial hole processing of pre-drilled holes to ensure the accuracy of drilling processing with ordinary drill bits;
Reserve chamfers for tapping to facilitate tapping processing
How to distinguish between pilot drills and center drills :
Center drilling: center drilling point hole + chamfering → drilling
Center drilling: Drill a point hole in the center → Drill the right arrow and chamfer with the chamfering knife
Why choose us?
*The surface of the fully ground cutting edge is titanium-plated, and its hardness is higher than that of the raw material. The cutting edge is sharp, strong and durable, and has excellent processing performance when drilling workpiece materials.
*The five-axis process grinding wheel is ground and formed in one go, and the accuracy of fixed-point chamfering is high.
*Processed from high-quality raw materials such as high-speed steel 6542, cobalt-containing M35, and cobalt-containing M42, it has high wear resistance.
*The two large chip grooves are processed by ultra-fine grain grinding wheels, and the unique shape of the chip flutes prevents the generation of chip accumulation.
*Universal chamfered round handle, clamping and fastening, quick assembly, widely used.
Precautions :
*The center drill can only be used for fixing, drilling and chamfering, and must not be used for drilling.
*Be sure to test the tool deflection before use. If it exceeds 0.01MM, please correct it first.
*The shorter the length of the tool protruding from the chuck, the better. If the tool protrudes longer, the rotation speed, feed speed or cutting amount needs to be reduced.
*The verticality of the electric hand drill cannot be guaranteed, so it is not recommended for buyers to use it.
*The cutting edge of the knife is sharp, please do not let children touch it and play with it.
*Before drilling, use a fixed-point drill to drill an initial hole with a depth of 1-2 times the diameter to ensure the accuracy of drilling with ordinary drills, and reserve chamfers for the tap to facilitate tapping processing;
*Fixed-point drilling with drill is suitable for high-speed, long-term drilling, dry processing, etc. before drilling;
*The top angle of the fixed-point drill should be equal to or greater than the final top angle of the micro-drill (if the top angle of the fixed-point drill is small, then when the micro-drill cuts in, the two cutting edges will contact the workpiece before the tip, which can easily cause chipping)
Centering drill selection method :
The center drill is formed by centering and chamfering in one step.
For example, if you want to process a 5mm hole (d1), you usually choose a 6mm*90" center drill (d2) so that subsequent drilling will not be offset and you can get a 0.5mm*90° chamfer.
